Rudolf “Rudy” J. Coertzen, CPA, CGMA, is a Partner in the Accounting & Financial Services division of Calibre CPA Group and brings over 20 years of experience to the firm. Rudy provides a worldly and well-rounded perspective, sharing the expertise he has gained through his work in a variety of industries and geographic regions.
An experienced accounting professional, Rudy worked with firms in South Africa and the United Kingdom before joining Calibre. He has managed the entire accounting cycle, working with organizations operating in a wide range of industries including media, entertainment, information technology, financial services and the public and not-for-profit sectors. Rudy has demonstrated expertise in a variety of areas including serving as an interim controller and Chief Financial Officer, troubleshooting for clients and preparing annual federal and state returns.
Rudy is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Virginia. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting Sciences from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. An active accounting industry professional, Rudy is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
