Mark C. McClain serves as the firm’s marketing director and has worked in the public accounting sector since 1993. His prior experience includes working in commercial banking as a product development analyst and also in information technology. He has been with Calibre CPA Group for 20+ years.
Mark is responsible for managing the day-to-day and strategic marketing and business development function of Calibre CPA Group. His responsibilities include overseeing the budgeting process, planning of initiatives, proposal development and tracking, website support, CRM maintenance, advertising, seminar/conference coordination, and other aspects of the firm’s growth priorities. He routinely interfaces with firm management and coordinates activities as liaison with an outsourced marketing company utilized by the firm.
Mark graduated from State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota and also attended the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is a member of the Association of Accounting Marketers (AAM) and a former Certified Marketing Executive (CME) for Great Plains Dynamics (now Microsoft) accounting software.
