Cory Chappell, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, serves as the firm’s Director of Human Resources and leads the strategic direction and execution of all HR functions within our firm. She is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and initiatives that align with the company’s overall goals. Cory oversees the HR team, ensuring effective talent management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Her role includes guiding the budgeting process for HR programs, managing complex employee relations matters, and driving workforce planning. Additionally, Cory ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, manages the administration of employee benefits, and oversees the preparation and submission of required HR-related filings and reports.
A native of Annapolis, Maryland, Cory began her career in Human Resources working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, California. She has two decades of leadership in HR, with progressive experience in pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, government contracting, distribution, media, and entertainment in the United States and abroad.
In addition to her professional experience, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland, College Park, and carries both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications.
