Ben got a taste of the insurance industry while attempting his college tour, when he worked as an intern with Strategic Employee Benefit Services, Northwestern Mutual’s benefits division. It wasn’t long before he dove head first into the benefits business full time.
As green as he was in the midst of the Affordable Care Act, Ben seized the opportunity to learn all aspects of employee benefits – from sales to renewals and service. He eventually created the small group account management department at EBS (now crucial to maintaining and servicing EBS’s small group clients). Ben’s thirst for knowledge and experience has led him into different roles within EBS: you can find Ben overseeing the Account Management team, managing small and large group clients, compliance, and even taking on new clients when he has the opportunity. His hunt for new technology and services keeps him and his clients at the top of their game.
