Andrew Moss is an Regional Director of Strategic Initiatives with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Working out of Gallagher’s Maryland office, he is responsible for Gallagher’s nonprofit division in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia, and monitors the public policies of local, state, and federal governments. Andrew also specializes in cyber liability, developing interactive presentations that educate clients outside the industry about proactive ways to deter cyber theft and what do in the event of a cyber breach.
Prior to working for Gallagher, Andrew worked for ten years at Johns Hopkins University, where he ultimately served as a Program Manager and Co-Director at JHU’s Center for Talented Youth (CTY). There, he developed and led CTY’s Emerging Scholars Program, which offered accelerated academic opportunities to gifted students from inner city Baltimore and was featured on NPR’s radio program On the Record. Andrew also oversaw CTY programs nationally including New York City, Seattle, and La Jolla. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland, College Park and a M.S. in Education from John Hopkins University.
