Aaron K. Plath, CPA, is a partner in the audit and accounting department of Calibre CPA Group. He has been in public accounting since 2004. Aaron has extensive experience with multiemployer benefit fund and labor union clients.
Aaron is responsible for all aspects of client service and engagement management including engagement budgeting, supervision of staff personnel, preparation of financial statements, tax filings and informational returns. His responsibilities include all aspects of engagement performance including planning, supervising and conducting audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements, auditor’s reports and management letters and presenting audit results to clients. His tax compliance responsibilities include the preparation and review of Forms 990, 5500, LM-2, and others.
Aaron received Bachelor of Science and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Illinois and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
