Glenn M. Eyrich Featured Speaker at International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) 68th Annual Employee Benefits Conference

WASHINGTON, DC:  (October 24, 2022) Glenn M. Eyrich, CPA, Partner, Calibre CPA Group, will share his insights into “Strategic Planning for Fraud in Employee Benefit Plans” as a featured co-speaker at this year’s International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) 68th Annual Employee Benefit Plans Conference. The in-person conference scheduled for Sunday, October 23 – Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada, also offers a virtual option.

The “Strategic Planning for Fraud in Employee Benefit Plans” session will take place on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 10:45 am PT and will provide insight and guidance for identifying risk, maximizing ROI, setting goals, deterrence-whistleblower policies, and DOL guidance. The session will also feature co-speaker Michael A. Ledbetter, CEBS, Partner, Ledbetter Parisi, LLC.

With over 25 years of public accounting experience specializing in tax-exempt organizations, including labor unions and related benefit funds, trade associations, charities, educational organizations, and other not-for-profit entities, Glenn offers incredible insight and expertise to attendees. His leadership in handling the firm’s professional sports associations, including the National Football League Players Association and National Basketball Players Association, and dealing with multiemployer benefit funds make him a subject matter expert in his field. He has vast experience dealing with financial and accounting issues surrounding multiemployer benefit funds, including various ERISA and regulatory areas. Glenn has led numerous management and consulting engagements, including operational auditing, performance audits (economy, efficiency, and program), and internal control reviews. He has also written and taught many continuing education courses, both internally and externally, for the nonprofit and labor and employee benefit communities.

Glenn earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a certified public accountant. He also serves as a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Not-for-Profit Advisory Committee and the advisory panel for the Journal of Accountancy, the flagship publication of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is currently serving on the International Foundation’s Professionals Committee.
