Shawn Miller to Speak at the GWSCPA 2016 Financial Management Series for Small Nonprofits

Bethesda, MD January 20, 2016,  —Calibre CPA Group, PLLC (Calibre CPA Group) is proud to announce that Shawn H. Miller will be speaking at a session of the the Greater Washington Society of CPAs’ 2016 Financial Management Series for Small Nonprofits.

In late December 2013, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget issued the so-called “Super-Circular,” superseding eight existing Circulars and combining into one place the administrative requirements, cost principles, and audit requirements for all organizations that receive Federal Awards. In this program, Shawn will cover the major changes affecting not-for-profit organizations, including the requirements for time and effort reporting, oversight of sub-recipients, indirect cost recovery, and the allowability of specific items of cost. The new rules were made effective beginning in 2015.
