Partner Glenn Eyrich delivered a presentation on the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act covering its legislative history and practical application. Senior Director Scott Hallberg reviewed the latest tax tips with emphasis on the CARES Act, which provides relief for organizations impacted by COVID-19.
Special guest speaker Ben Bohonowicz, Director of Client Services at Employee Benefit Services of Maryland, joined the Calibre team. Bohonowicz shared a variety of strategies for reducing costs and maximizing value of health and welfare plans. Calibre CPA Group Managing Partner James Kokolas moderated the discussion and fielded audience questions.
