Derrick E. Strosnider, CPA, is an Audit Partner at Calibre CPA Group and has been in public accounting since 1991. His career has focused on serving a variety of not-for-profit entities including labor unions, single, multiple and multiemployer benefit plans, trade associations, educational and charitable organizations and political action committees. His experience encompasses auditing, management consulting and internal control evaluation. Derrick is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and oversees the efforts of Calibre CPA Group’s Marketing Team.
As a regular presenter at educational seminars and conferences, Derrick has helped to develop and teach a number of programs including courses on auditing and accounting, regulatory compliance and a multitude of other programs for not-for-profit entities. He has also written numerous articles for a variety of publications, covering issues that affect the not-for-profit industry and the clients he serves.
Derrick received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from James Madison University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the District of Columbia and Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, The Virginia Society of CPAs and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
