Andrew J. Hein, CPA, is an Audit Partner at Calibre CPA Group. Andy has been in the practice of public accounting since 1993. He has significant public accounting experience in the specialized field of tax-exempt organizations including charities, not-for-profits, associations, membership organizations, labor unions and their related entities and employee benefit funds. Andy serves on the firm’s Management Committee and also manages many of the administrative responsibilities of Calibre CPA Group’s Chicago office.
Andy is responsible for all aspects of client service and engagement management including engagement budgeting, supervision of staff personnel, preparation of financial statements, tax filings and informational returns. His responsibilities include all aspects of engagement performance including planning, supervising and conducting audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements, auditor’s reports and management letters and presenting audit results to clients. His tax compliance responsibilities include the preparation and review of Forms 990, 990-T, LM-2, LM-30, 5500 and others.
Andy received a Bachelor of Science from Augustana College and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois CPA Society and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Funds.
