WASHINGTON, DC (April 22, 2026) – Vault released its 2027 Accounting 25 rankings today, with Calibre CPA Group climbing to No. 14, up from No. 22 last year. This year’s results mark Calibre’s highest placement to date in its fourth year participating in the survey.
Calibre also earned top rankings in several individual categories:
- #1 – Hours
- #2 – Work-Life Balance and Formal Training
- #3 – Satisfaction and Informal Training
- Top 5 rankings in Culture, Relationships with Supervisors, and Business Outlook
Vault’s Accounting 25 rankings combine external peer evaluations with internal employee feedback. Prestige scores are based on peer ratings from thousands of accounting professionals. Quality-of-life and inclusion rankings reflect employee feedback across areas like culture, satisfaction, compensation, work-life balance, training, and business outlook.
“Vault’s rankings look at more than one dimension of a firm, which makes this year’s No. 14 spot especially meaningful,” said James E. Gomes, Managing Partner, Calibre CPA Group, PLLC. “It carries added weight because it reflects how both our peers and our own team view the firm. We’ve stayed focused on developing our people, and that has shaped a culture where our teams can do excellent work for our clients.”
Calibre invests in its people through a mix of accredited continuing professional education (CPE) through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), firm-led training, and opportunities to stay engaged with the broader industry.
