This year’s Conference provides an annual update and will focus on current regulatory reporting and financial matters impacting labor unions.
Our keynote speaker will be Dr. John Lund, Former Director of the Department of Labor’s Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS). He will review relevant DOL policies, give an overview of the Compliance Audit Program (CAP) and discuss the International Compliance Audit Program (I-CAP).
Another conference highlight will be Andrew Moss’ presentation on fraud and cyber threats that your organization should guard against. He will share prevention best practices, common pitfalls/schemes and signs to look for.
In addition, experienced CPAs from Calibre CPA Group will present on this year’s can’t-miss accounting and auditing updates for labor unions, as well as hot topics in tax areas that impact labor unions. There will be time at the end to ask questions and receive answers from the experts. All attendees will receive a copy of Calibre CPA Group’s annual National Labor Union Report.
“Each year, our firm looks forward to the opportunity to connect with our labor union colleagues and share our expertise. As we navigate the ever-evolving world of accounting, we continue to refine our recommendations for financial planning and oversight. Your questions and ideas contribute to the industry’s body of knowledge and we are glad you can be part of the conversation.”
