The half-day conference will provide attendees with an annual industry update. Highlights of the conference will include presentations from Peter Leff and Alexander Assaley, III. Peter Leff will be presenting on legislative and other proposals to address the defined benefit multiemployer plan underfunding. Alexander Assaley will be discussing hot topics for defined contribution plans in 2018.
Allison Itami from Groom Law Group will also be presenting. She will be discussing cybersecurity and how it relates to retirement plan data. Additional presentations will include a discussion regarding proposed reporting changes impacting employee benefit plans and what to be aware of if your plan invests or is considering investing in alternative investments. We will conclude the conference with an update and summary on the new tax act.
“As a firm that has worked with Employee Benefit Plans for decades, we are proud to continue our support and offer this forum for open discussion and sharing of ideas. The conference is specifically designed to provide attendees with both valuable insights and practical information to help in long and short-term planning and ongoing organizational strategies.
