James C. Kokolas, CPA, is currently the firm’s Managing Partner with more than 30 years of experience in the accounting industry. Jim has significant experience providing audit and accounting services to the tax-exempt community. He has concentrated his career on labor organizations, employee benefit plans, associations, foundations, charitable and educational organizations and other membership organizations. He is active in many industry organizations, helping to collaborate with peers on improvements within the industry and the firm. In his role as Managing Partner, Jim leads the Management and other governance committees and is responsible for the overall operations, vision and strategy of Calibre CPA Group.

David Kim | Senior Compliance Manager

David Kim is a senior manager in Calibre CPA Group’s payroll (employer) compliance department.  David has nearly 15 years of expertise in business analysis, auditing, and program management. In addition to performing and reviewing fieldwork conducted on behalf of Calibre’s multiemployer benefit plan clients, David is responsible for interviewing, training of new auditors, the administration of several small and large clients, the supervision of department staff, monitoring staff assignments, and liaising with clients on a day-to-day basis.

Mary Margaret Prange, CPA, is an audit partner with Calibre CPA Group. She has been in public accounting since 2001. Mary Margaret has significant audit experience with tax-exempt organizations including employe benefit plans, labor unions, trade and professional associations, charitable foundations, advocacy groups, and faith-based organizations. She is the head of the firm’s Continuing Education Committee and is responsible for planning, developing and delivering a majority of the firm’s internal Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs each year.

Sharon M. Goodman, Esq., Principal | Slevin & Hart, P.C.

Sharon M. Goodman, Esq., is a principal of the firm Slevin & Hart, P.C. and practices exclusively in the employee benefits law area. She has extensive experience in matters relating to Taft-Hartley health and pension plan design and tax qualification requirements, investments and plan administration. Ms. Goodman was a co-chair of the Qualified Retirement Income Plans Subcommittee of the ABA Section of Labor and Employment and is a member of the American Bar Association Section on Labor and Employment Law Committee on Employee Benefits and the American College of Employee Benefits Counsel. She is the chair of the Professionals Committee for the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan (IFEBP). She is on the Board of Editors of the Employee Benefits Law treatise and has spoken numerous times to the IFEBP, the American Bar Association and other groups on many employee benefit plan issues. Ms. Goodman is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars and is admitted to practice before the United States district courts of those districts. She graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor’s degree, and received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law.
